Racial Harmony Week

It's racial harmony week. So I went for Henna Art.

To collaborate Racial Harmony, school had encouraged students to put on their ethnic costumes. Of course, as a soon-to-be graduate of Mayflower Secondary school, the sec 4s were participating actively. Not to exclude my very own class of 4 Integrity. This whole week is all about racial harmony. That's myself, in a Korean suit.

Anyway, take a good look at the pict above. Figure out what he was trying to do?
If not, continue guessing then.

Back to my entry.

I was surprised that today's racial harmony pledge was taken very well. Despite the minute sound of the National's pledge and National Anthem was sang/recite, today's racial harmony pledge was a great one. Like what the teachers wanted, "LOUD & CLEAR".

No doubt there are still minorities in Singapore, doesn't support racial harmony. I guessed Singaporeans are fairly great. To live harmoniously in a country with different cultures, i guessed we can use our fingers and count how many countries can actually do that. For that, I think we should give Singaporeans a pat on the back.

Was having history lesson after school, a lesson by our very own VP, Mrs Selva. She was talking about "authoritarian". Is Singapore a "authoritarian" country? She said, to Asians - Singapore is not an "authoritarian" country. But to the Westerners - Yes, Singapore is an "authoritarian" country. So what's your opinion?

I guessed our toilet would sooner or later be like this. (above)

Went blog-cruising ytd. And I came by this blog which wrote about toilet seats. I was just roughly reading the sub-titles of each para. But didn't read the content about what the blogger wrote. But, it reminds me of something. And this is only addressing those inconsiderate Singaporeans. We should ponder about this word "seat". Is 'seat' supposed to have your butt on it? Or your feet? I can't understand why some Singaporeans loved to squat on the seat and clear their bladder. If you wanna squat, go ahead. No one can stop you. But, they are so inconsiderate that before they open the cubicle door, they didn't even thought that there will be the next person using it and CLEAN it before they leave. These are also known as the UGLY & INCONSIDERATE Singaporeans. They could dress so nicely and look so pretty. But, I will be just like going "Oh My God!" when they came out of the cubicle and having to see that the toilet seat had shoe soles imprint.
