I went for an event at Orchid Country Club just yesterday.
It was the Merlion International Dancesports Competition.

I was helping out Ong. =) And how amazed I was when I got this opportunity to expose to more people out in the society internationally. We were there since morning.

I was being called into the ballroom when i supposed to be at the front reception awaiting for the judges. So I went in, and when i could have my breakfast that Ong bought us, I swooped my role with ZJ. I got a 'warning' from one of the people there. This NUS girl came to me and said, "They ask you don't eat here." This sentence gave me a couple of doubts about students from NUS. Of course, I am just having her as a generalization.

1. If I don't eat here :
a. Who is going to tend the place?
b. Am I supposed to throw my breakfast away?

2. You mentioned 'they', and may I know who was the 'they'?

You can imagine how the girl could react, or rather ask me in such a way, despite being a uni student. Well anyway, when i was done with my breakfast, the first quarter of the dance events were to end. When the second one start, how coincidence! I was in the same group with the girl who warned about my breakfast.

Zj and Beeying seemed so slack. But, when i ask ZJ today, she said no. She got pissed off as well. She wanted to watch the little kids dance. And she was asked to tend the place when only one judge was still aren't around. The judge would only be around when the night events start. How ridiculous isn't it?

It got really tired & busy. Since I agreed to help out, I think that I should put in the best effort I could. But, it got really turned off when you felt so stress up when things were so disorganized. The competitors come looking for you asking what event is and that. And they were everywhere. They are not easy to look for.

There's this young China girl came to me. She asked which country I was from. I said Singapore. And I was simply shocked by her reply. (In chinese) "Really? But you can speak Chinese very fluently." Well I was pondering. "Did she mean that Singaporeans can't speak Chinese fluently? Hahas.

How some Chinese nationals could have crude actions that I really think that what they do seriously brought down the name of their country. China is developing at a high rate but one thing is that, the way they react when they wanted things their way. And not to forget, I am referring to certain Chinese out there. Of course, there were still good ones.

The laughters with ZJ, Beeying & Aybin couldn't stop. It was a regret that I had so much work on hand that I couldn't share the laughters with them all the time. But, anyway, it's great to have at least communicate with these 2 beauties. =)

Pictures will be included as soon as I received them. =) Enjoy!
